ZAGREB, April 7 (Hina) - Should the Hague tribunal (ICTY) confirm the validity of the delivery of the indictment in the Bobetko case, it will withdraw the arrest warrant and freeze the proceedings against the retired Croatian Army
general, Croatian government legal advisor Goran Mikulicic said on Monday evening.
ZAGREB, April 7 (Hina) - Should the Hague tribunal (ICTY) confirm
the validity of the delivery of the indictment in the Bobetko case,
it will withdraw the arrest warrant and freeze the proceedings
against the retired Croatian Army general, Croatian government
legal advisor Goran Mikulicic said on Monday evening. #L#
If the ICTY recognises the delivery, the arrest warrant will be
withdrawn automatically, Mikulicic said. He said that in that case
the proceedings will be frozen until the general's condition
improves. According to him, the Croatian authorities should once a
month inform The Hague tribunal about Bobetko's condition.
According to unofficial information, the government's office for
cooperation with the ICTY has announced that reactions from The
Hague regarding serving the indictment on Bobetko are "very
favourable".
