Bishop Komarica pointed out that for that occasion it will be
necessary to set a positive atmosphere in Bosnia to welcome the pope
because he is coming carrying a message of peace, forgiveness and
tolerance for all citizens in that country.
The Pope's announced visit will have greater significance for
Bosnia because on that occasion, God's honourable servant, Ivan
Merz will be the first persons to be beatified in that country,
Bishop Komarica stressed.
It was announced that Dragan Covic would visit Banja Luka on April
11 to further discuss preparations for the pope's visit. While in
Banja Luka, Covic will meet with the highest officials in Republika
Srpska regarding the coming visit.
