KARLOVAC KARLOVAC, March 30 (Hina) - Apostolic Nuncio to Croatia, Msgr. Giulio Einaudi, on Sunday unveiled a bronce statue to Pope John Paul II, in the city of Karlovac (50 kilometres south of Zagreb).

The dignitary also added a stone, blessed by the pope during his
visit to Croatia in September 1994, in the foundations of the future
Catholic centre in a parish in that town.
During his sermon on this occasion, Msgr. Einaudi called on the
faithful to pray for peace.
