"Croatia has supported conclusions referring to Iraq," Ministry
spokesman Zarko Plevnik told Hina.
He added that the Croatian mission at the EU had informed the
Council of Ministers, the European Commission and the Greek EU
Presidency of its stand in a note.
The EU heads of state and government, who gathered for a two-day
session in Brussels, issued a joint statement warning about the
humanitarian aspects of the crisis and promised emergency aid worth
21 million euros and an additional 100 million euros.
They expressed readiness to help Iraq's neighbours receive
refugees and called on countries in the region to refrain from any
action that could lead to further instability.
