LJUBLJANA, March 15 (Hina) - Slovene Environment and Zoning Minister Janez Kopac said on Friday the decision of the Croatian parliament to refuse a request for the annulment of a Croatian- Slovene agreement on the jointly owned Krsko nuclear power plant was expected. The two sides now face the implementation of the agreement, he said. #L# Asked to comment on the Croatian parliament's decision that Slovenia should pay for the electricity it failed to deliver since July 1 last year, when the agreement was signed, Kopac said that both sides had been late with ratification and that "neither one of them is clean in that regard". Due to delays in envisaged deadlines, the contractual partners have to establish again when the agreement goes into force, as well as when the new company, into which the plant is to be reorganised, will make its initial balance sheet, Kopac said. This can be done by decision of the company or in new talks on the ministerial level, he added. The Krsko company has called a meeting of shareholders for April 5, Kopac said. (hina) rml
