SISAK IRONWORKS UNION SATISFIED WITH GOVERNMENT'S DECISION

SISAK, March 10 (Hina) - The co-ordinating body of unions fighting for the survival of the Sisak Ironworks is satisfied with the government's decision to confirm a contract of the sale of the Sisak Ironworks to the Swiss-based "Conares Trading" and its Croatian "Mechel Ironworks" d.o.o. company which bought the ironworks on behalf of the Mechel company from the Russian Celjabinska region, union commissioner Ivica Kenda said on Monday. #L# Kenda said that he was convinced that finally this affairs was over and that Mechel would take over the ironworks and start production again as soon as possible.
