At the start of Thursday's session Josko Kontic of the HSLS
reiterated yesterday's request of his party's bench to calling
government officials to address parliament and respond to an
article issued by a daily two days ago.
The head of the office for the prevention of crime and corruption
(USKOK), Zeljko Zganjer, told the Slobodna Dalmacija daily on
Tuesday that criminals had their own people in the judiciary,
police and security services.
Therefore Kontic asked that the premier, the justice minister, the
interior minister and other relevant officials arrive in Sabor and
notify MPs about the state of affairs regarding security. Kontic
asked of the USKOK's head Zganjer to submit a report to parliament
as well.
