The protesters particularly opposed the arrest of Fatmir Limaj, the
whip of the Democratic Party of Kosovo bench, and three other Kosovo
Albanians. The former KLA members have been indicted for the
abduction, torture and abuse of prisoners in a KLA detention camp in
Lapusnik in 1998.
The Slovene Supreme Court today granted Limaj's extradition to The
Hague after he was arrested in Kranjska Gora last week.
He could be transferred on Friday, after the justice ministry
confirms the court decision.
