The information was also confirmed by government sources.
Granic and Zuvanic are government members from Libra. According to
unofficial sources, the third Libra member in the government,
Health Minister Andro Vlahusic, did not vote against the decision
due to lack of coordination with his party colleagues.
Libra said it opposed the government's decision because the
government refused to accept its request that the text of the
decision also include Croatia's stand on the need to exhaust all
possibilities of solving the Iraqi crisis in a peaceful way before
opting for a military solution.
Most government members refused this, stating that this was self-
evident and was already noted in a previous government statement
about the Iraqi crisis.
Libra officials do not believe today's events are a sign of any
deeper disagreement with its coalition partners.
