After consulting a team of lawyers, Babic asserted that the
government's decision on the order was legally disputable, and the
union was going to use all its legitimate means to challenge it
before a court.
Following the government's decision of Thursday, all hospitals
worked as usual on Friday, and the number of patients in waiting
rooms increased.
According to an opinion poll, conducted by the "Puls" agency on
Thursday, 72 percent of respondents supported the government's
decision.
The poll, conducted by the phone among 600 randomly selected
citizens shows that 24 percent were against the Ivica Racan
Cabinet's decision, and four percent of respondents did not know
how to answer.
