Minister Papandreou has announced that on 17 and 18 February his
country will organise a EU summit in Brussels concerning the
situation in Iraq, read a statement released by the Croatian
government's public relations office.
The summit is to be chaired by Greek Premier Costas Simitis, the
statement read.
The engagement of Simitis and other Greek officials in the EU summit
is the reason for the postponement of Racan's trip to Athens.
The new date for Racan's tour to Greece will be subsequently
determined.
