The document was presented ahead of World Day of the Sick on
February 11.
Minister Andro Vlahusic took the opportunity to call on doctors,
whose strike entered the 27th day, to be reasonable so that
citizens' rights to medical care could be concrete and not just a
declaration.
One of the main aspects of the draft law is the proposal to set up an
agency which would represent patients, protect their rights, give
advice, file lawsuits on their behalf, etc.
