ZAGREB, Feb 6 (Hina) - At its closed session Thursday, the Croatian government adopted a comprehensive report on the implementation of measures of state administration aimed at removing the causes of human rights violations from a
report on the work of the ombudsman in 2001.

government adopted a comprehensive report on the implementation of
measures of state administration aimed at removing the causes of
human rights violations from a report on the work of the ombudsman

The government's press relations office reported that the
implemented measures pertained to complaints about the work of
courts, property and housing issues, pension, disability and
health insurance rights, the organisation of the health system,
social welfare, labour relations, the rights of war veterans,
members of their families and war victims, and various other
measures aimed at improving cooperation with the ombudsman's
office. The general assessment was that the measures were being
implemented successfully.
