ZAGREB, Feb 5 (Hina) - The parliamentary Committee on Internal
Affairs and National Security started a debate on the security
situation in the Croatian Armed Forces on Wednesday afternoon. The
session is closed to the public. #L#
The debate is held at the request of the Croatian Party of Rights/
the Croatian Christian Democratic Union (HSP/HKDU) parliamentary
bench. The bench claims that all elements point to a difficult
situation in the Croatian Armed Forces, and considering that this
situation is the foundation of national security, the issue needs
to be discussed in parliament.
A meeting of the leaders of the five ruling coalition parties on the
sale of the Suncani Hvar hotel chain was adjourned because of the
committee session. The meeting of the coalition chiefs should
resume after the committee session.
