In attendance, besides Croatian bishops, is apostolic nuncio to
Croatia Giulio Einaudi who will speak about preparations for a
visit Pope John Paul II might make to Croatia in June.
Archbishop Bozanic announced the bishops would address the current
state of affairs in the Catholic Church and joint initiatives
launched with the Bishops' Conference of Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Bozanic added the session would also discuss some initiatives the
Croatian Bishops' Conference "will take for the purpose of bringing
churches in Europe closer, i.e. European unification on the
Christian front".
