ZAGREB, Jan 27 (Hina) - The Croatian Peasant Party (HSS), a member

revoke its decision on the sale of the controlling block of shares
in the Suncani Hvar hotel company to Slovenia's Terme Catez. #L#
The party's decision was confirmed on Monday evening by the HSS
Presidency, party leader Zlatko Tomcic told reporters.
The party also demands that the government not accept any of the
bids for the purchase of the company, but return the issue of its
privatisation to the Croatian Privatisation Fund (HFP) and discuss
it only within a new privatisation model, which was recently
formulated by the ruling coalition.
The HSS also requests establishing the responsibility of officials
who adopted the decision on the sale of Suncani Hvar.
The final decision on the status of the HSS in the five-member
coalition will be made after its coalition partners, the government
and the HFP's Supervisory Committee voice their stand on these
demands, Tomcic said, without defining any deadlines within which
this is to be done.
