Movement in Croatia was elected as one of five vice-presidents of
the International European Movement, at a session of the movement's
steering board in Brussels on Wednesday. #L#
According to a statement released by the Croatian European
Movement, besides Ljubomir Cucic, another four vice-presidents are
Alan Dukes (Ireland), Jo Leinen (Germany), Catherine Lalumiere
(France) and Alison Weston (Great Britain).
The election of Cucic is "a sign of sympathy for Croatia's
aspirations to become a member of the EU (European Union) and the
credit given to the European Movement of Croatia for its work and
successes in the past years in the field of promoting Croatia in
Europe and European ideas in Croatia".
