ZAGREB ARCHBISHOP SENDS CHRISTMAS MESSAGE TO PATRIARCH PAVLE, METROPOLITAN JOVAN ZAGREB, Jan 3 (Hina) - The president of the Croatian Bishops Conference, Zagreb Archbishop Josip Bozanic, on Friday forwarded a message to the head of
the Serb Orthodox Church, Patriarch Pavle, and the Metropolitan of Zagreb, Ljubljana and Italy, Jovan Pavlovic, offering his best wishes for Christmas, the Catholic news agency IKA reported.
ZAGREB, Jan 3 (Hina) - The president of the Croatian Bishops
Conference, Zagreb Archbishop Josip Bozanic, on Friday forwarded a
message to the head of the Serb Orthodox Church, Patriarch Pavle,
and the Metropolitan of Zagreb, Ljubljana and Italy, Jovan
Pavlovic, offering his best wishes for Christmas, the Catholic news

"Reconciliation and peace, which are the gifts of the Lord Jesus
Christ, bring harmony between God and man, understanding among
people, and harmony between man and the world as a whole. Joy and
peace are the best fruits of Embodiment and Redemption," notes the
message.
Thanking for their Christmas and New Year messages, the Zagreb
archbishop wished all the best for Christmas to Patriarch Pavle and
Metropolitan Jovan as well as the Orthodox clergy and faithful who
celebrate Christmas according to the Julian calendar on January 7.
He also wished them a happy New Year.
