The documents were signed in the Slovene winter resort of Kranjska Gora under the auspices of the co-ordinator of the Stability Pact for Southeast Europe, Erhard Busek.
According to a press release issued today by the Slovene foreign ministry, the agreement, which was drawn up in accordance with European directives and international conventions on river traffic, regulates cooperation between the four countries in the Sava River Basin in the fields of sustainable development, environment protection, water management and exchange of information in case of natural and ecological disasters.
