prices of oil and some other factors which may affect the general growth of
prices, it is estimated that the inflation rate in 2005 will not exceed 2.5

on Wednesday.A stable exchange rate, increased market competition, primarily in the
commercial and financial sectors, and a modest growth of salaries should
contribute the most to maintaining macroeconomic stability.
The HNB Council also discussed the latest economic and monetary trends
as well as the situation in the banking system in the third quarter and adopted
a monetary projection and a financial plan for next year.
