Sinisa Glavasevic was born in Vukovar in 1960. His radio reports about the destruction of Vukovar in the Serb aggression attracted the attention of the domestic and international public. After the JNA and Serb paramilitary units occupied the town, Glavasevic was executed at Ovcara on 20 November, 1991. His remains were exhumed in 1995 along with the remains of 199 other victims.
A street in Vukovar has been named after him.
