VUKOVAR, Nov 20 (Hina) - A bust commemorating reporter Sinisa Glavasevic, who was killed at Ovcara in 1991, was unveiled at the building housing the offices of Croatian Radio in Vukovar, where Glavasevic worked as a war reporter and editor during the Serb aggression on the town.

The memorial bust was unveiled by Glavasevic's son and wife.

A member of a senior body of the Croatian Radio and Press Association, Sefik Kapetanovic, recalled that 14 reporters and technicians had been killed at work during the Homeland War.

The ceremony, which was attended, among others, by Agriculture Minister Petar Cobankovic and representatives of numerous associations of the Vukovar victims, was also addressed by Croatian Journalists Association president Dragutin Lucic.

Sinisa Glavasevic was born in Vukovar in 1960. His radio reports about the destruction of Vukovar in the Serb aggression attracted the attention of the domestic and international public. After the JNA and Serb paramilitary units occupied the town, Glavasevic was executed at Ovcara on 20 November, 1991. His remains were exhumed in 1995 along with the remains of 199 other victims.

A street in Vukovar has been named after him.
