The conference will pool some 300 participants -- high representatives of EU institutions, the European Commission, the European Parliament and top officials from European countries.
The forum will focus on current political developments in the EU, expansion to the East, the European Constitution, Austria's special role in an enlarged Europe and the start of membership negotiations with Turkey. A number of round table debates will also be held and Zuzul is expected to give a talk at a debate called "The European Bridge Between East and West".
The event will also be attended by the EU High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy, Javier Solana, and the incoming European Commissioner for External Relations, Benita Ferrero Waldner.
The forum is organised by the West German Radio (WDR) in cooperation with Austrian Radio Television and representatives of the European Commission in Austria and Germany. The event will be held under the auspices of Austrian President Heinz Fischer on November 18 and 19.
