After receiving some 2,500 photos, the jury of this year's event selected nearly 500 photos made by over 320 authors from almost 60 countries, a member of the jury, Dubravka Jakelic-Osrecki, said this evening.
A half of the selected works have been put on display in the Museum, while the other half will be exhibited in other cities, including Varazdin, Bjelovar, Osijek, Sibenik and at Kukljica on the island of Ugljan.
The annual international exhibition 'Zagreb Salon' is one of the oldest events of this kind in the world. The first exhibition in the Croatian capital was staged in 1910.
