Sunday at the presentation of the RuzickaHouse Foundation in the eastern Croatian town of Vukovar.
VUKOVAR, Nov 7 (Hina) - The reconstruction of the house in which
Croatian Nobel prize winner Lavolav Ruzucka was born and which was destroyed
during the Serb aggression in Vukovar, should be completed in a year, it was
said on Sunday at the presentation of the Ruzicka House Foundation in the
eastern Croatian town of Vukovar.The reconstruction project, worth EUR550,000, includes the opening of a
museum-memorial centre about the work of Lavolsav Ruzicka, Nobel prize winner
for chemistry and a scientific centre of the Croatian Academy of Arts and
Sciences.
Ruzicka was born in Vukovar in 1887.
