ZAGREB, Nov 2 (Hina) - Croatian People's Party (HNS) leader Vesna Pusicon Tuesday held a meeting with the newly-elected president of theLiberal Party (LS), Zlatko Benasic, to consider possibilities andprospects of the association of the two parties, the HNS said in apress release.
ZAGREB, Nov 2 (Hina) - Croatian People's Party (HNS) leader Vesna Pusic on Tuesday held a meeting with the newly-elected president of the Liberal Party (LS), Zlatko Benasic, to consider possibilities and prospects of the association of the two parties, the HNS said in a press release.

"In light of the fact that Zlatko Benasic has only recently come to the helm of the LS, as well as that he needs some time, as he said, to gain full insight into the situation and consolidation of his party, it was agreed that the LS will until further notice cooperate with the HNS and Libra in line with their 18 July 2004 agreement on a pre-election coalition before local elections," the press release said.

The HNS and Libra will continue talks on uniting into one party.
