According to sources close to Mesic, the two officials also discussed the participation of Croatian companies in infrastructure projects in Libya and in bidding in Libya's forthcoming tenders for oil research.
Mesic and Ghanem also discussed the political situation in their countries' regions, notably in Sudan and Iraq.
They agreed Croatian and Libyan officials on the ministerial level would exchange visits soon, and mentioned the possibility of the two countries' prime ministers exchanging visits as well.
Mesic and Ghanem are in Rimini to attend the Islands Without Archipelago conference.
