PRISTINA, Oct 19 (Hina) - Bulgarian Foreign Minister Solomon Pasi,whose country currently chairs the Organisation for Security andCooperation in Europe (OSCE), called on the people of Kosovo onTuesday to participate in a parliamentary
election due to take placeon Saturday.
PRISTINA, Oct 19 (Hina) - Bulgarian Foreign Minister Solomon Pasi,
whose country currently chairs the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in
Europe (OSCE), called on the people of Kosovo on Tuesday to participate in a
parliamentary election due to take place on Saturday.Pasi was on a day-long visit to Kosovo as part of his diplomatic tour of
the Balkans. He met UN civil administrator Soeren Jessen Petersen, Kosovo
president Ibrahim Rugova and prime minister Bajram Rexhepi.
Pasi told reporters in Pristina that the purpose of his visit was to
encourage citizens of Kosovo to turn out for the election in large numbers. He
added that the Western world wanted to see a multiethnic government in
Kosovo.
