"This would be possible, and I would agree with it gladly. However, I cannot exert any influence on such a decision. As a citizen, I would agree with it," Stjepan Mesic told reporters on Tuesday during his visit to the Military Ordinariate in Zagreb.
Answering reporters' questions about his opinion on the possibility of election day on Tuesday December 21 being proclaimed a non-working day, which would cause losses to the economy, Mesic said elections were an important business which citizens had to do, and a working day proclaimed as a non-working day for this purpose could be substituted.
