The association's leader, Mirko Grahorac, told a local radio station that Justice Minister Vesna Skare Ozbolt would receive the association's representatives on October 12 to discuss their rights.

They were collectively fired because they failed to report to the company management in exile at the start of the war in 1991, but stayed working in the factory during the Serb occupation of Vukovar.
In March 2001 they filed a complaint with the Vukovar Municipal Court claiming back their rights. They have staged several protest rallies in Vukovar and sought assistance from the government, the parliament, relevant ministries and international representatives.
