The Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) won five seats, while the Social Democratic Party-Croatian Social Liberal Party (SDP/HSLS) coalition won one seat.
The turnout was 55.6 percent.

According to the preliminary results of yesterday's extraordinary elections for the 11-member Municipal Council of Barilovic, Karlovac County, the HDZ won five seats, while the Croatian Peasant Party (HSS), the Croatian Party of Rights (HSP) and the Independent List of Zvonko Spudic won two seats each, the local election commission reported.
Out of 3,203 registered voters, 1,755 went to the polls.
