"We must clearly say what is the minimum and what is the maximum we are willing to sacrifice," Banac told members of the LS main committee,
Banac said that as the promoter of the unification he was personally ready to give up all of his functions in the LS and called on the members of the LS head committee to vote for the unification as soon as possible, that is before the presidential and local elections.
"The time has come for liberal democrats," Banac said and added that surveys already showed positive results regarding the unification of the HNS and the LS. He said the LS wanted to get the trust of voters of liberal-democratic orientation.
