ZAGREB, Sept 30 (Hina) - The Interior Ministry said on Thursday no
new documents or information which would provide new leads in the search for
Ante Gotovina were found during recent raids aimed at collecting information
about the movement and location of the general wanted by the U.N. war crimes
tribunal in The Hague. On September 23, police raided in Zadar and Zagreb the flats and houses
of four persons suspected of helping Gotovina hide.
Some print media have alleged the raid of Ante Zoni Maksan's house in
Pakostane near Zadar yielded some instructions and orders about the Knin
operative zone Gotovina is said to have issued while he was officially in
Bosnia-Herzegovina.
The Interior Ministry said only one document was found which referred to
the Hague tribunal's indictment against Gotovina and was already in the
possession of his defence attorneys.
