FISHERMEN ADVOCATE APPLICATION OF ECOLOGICAL, FISHERIES PROTECTED ZONE TO EU COUNTRIES

RAB, Sept 25 (Hina) - The ninth meeting of fishermen of the CroatianChamber of Crafts, which pooled some 150 fishermen and representativesof competent ministries and institutions and which focused onCroatia's fishing industry, ended in Rab on Saturday with the adoptionof conclusions by the Chamber's Fisheries and Agriculture Guild.
RAB, Sept 25 (Hina) - The ninth meeting of fishermen of the Croatian Chamber of Crafts, which pooled some 150 fishermen and representatives of competent ministries and institutions and which focused on Croatia's fishing industry, ended in Rab on Saturday with the adoption of conclusions by the Chamber's Fisheries and Agriculture Guild.

The conclusions will be forwarded to the government.

Fishermen demand of the government and parliament to complete negotiations on the Ecological and Fisheries Protection Zone within six months and that the decision on the implementation of this zone also apply to the EU member countries.
