The book was presented by a former head of Croatia's Government of National Unity, Franjo Greguric, the State Secretary at the Foreign Ministry, Hido Biscevic, and Zoran Bosnjak, who translated the book into Croatian.
The book describes the German position on the dissolution of the former Yugoslavia and the circumstances of Croatia's international recognition, Greguric said, adding that at the time the Western forces tried to save Yugoslavia.
Michael Libal is German Ambassador to the Czech Republic. Between 1991 and 1995 he headed a German Foreign Ministry department in charge of the Yugoslav crisis.
