PODGORICA, Sept 19(Hina) - The number of supporters of Montenegro'sindependence is nearly ten per cent higher than the number of thoseopposing the idea, according to an opinion poll conducted by theCentre for Democracy and Human
Rights (CEDEM).
PODGORICA, Sept 19(Hina) - The number of supporters of Montenegro's
independence is nearly ten per cent higher than the number of those opposing
the idea, according to an opinion poll conducted by the Centre for Democracy
and Human Rights (CEDEM).According to the latest survey , 41.5 per cent of citizens said they
would vote in favour of Montenegrin independence, while 32.1 per cent were
against, which was ten per cent more in relation to the survey carried out in
June. A quarter of the population was undecided.
CEDEM director Srdjan Darmanovic said that this was the first time
independence supporters had gained a considerable advantage over their
opponents.
