The film is about events in the military investigation centre Lora, Split, in which, the author says, over 1,000 people including civilians and soldiers, were detained from 1992 to 1996. The detainees were from Split, Dalmatia, the then Yugoslavia, and Bosnia-Herzegovina.
The documentary also covers the first trial for crimes committed in Lora, which was held before the Split County Court in 2002.
The film is produced by the Zagreb-based Factum company and the Belgrade-based B92 Television. It has been co-financed by the United States Institute of Peace and the German Heinrich Boell Stiftung.
The documentary will be premiered at the Zagreb Film Festival. It will be broadcast at the same time by Television B92.
The Factum has reported that the film has been offered on several occasions to the Croatian national television HTV, but its editors have not yet responded to the offer.
