ZAGREB, Sept 9 (Hina) - Prime Minister Ivo Sanader on Thursday receivedthe top people at Croatian Radio and Television (HRT) to brief themabout the government's steps towards European Union entry and thenegotiations awaiting the
government in this area in the first half of2005, the government said in a press release.

received the top people at Croatian Radio and Television (HRT) to brief them
about the government's steps towards European Union entry and the negotiations
awaiting the government in this area in the first half of 2005, the government
said in a press release.The HRT delegation informed Sanader about preparations for the
Eurovision General Assembly due to take place in Dubrovnik next July.
HRT manager Mirko Galic said the role of public television in Croatia's
EU integration would be very important, and added Croatian Television (HTV) was
preparing a series of projects promoting European values due for broadcasting
this autumn.
Apart from Galic, the HRT delegation included HTV manager Marija Nemcic
and the editor-in-chief of HTV's news desk, Vladimir Roncevic.
