The attack is seen as an act of retaliation following a number of incidents that occurred in Greece on Saturday after a qualifying match between Greece and Albania for the world soccer championship in Germany.
The Macedonian police said in a statement that the bottle containing flammable fluid did not not cause any serious damage.
The Albanian victory sparked off clashes between rival fans in Greece and also caused disturbances in the Macedonian towns of Skopje, Tetovo, Kumanovo and Struga where Albanians celebrated by firing shots in the air.
