The actor is accompanied by his mother Mary Lee Mapother, but not by his former wife Nicole Kidman and their children as earlier speculated, Croatian dailies reported on Monday.
Jutarnji List and Vecernji List report that the actor landed at the Dubrovnik airport aboard the "Glastrom" jet on Saturday morning. He then proceeded to Cavtat, where he boarded the luxuriously equipped 88-metre "Arctic P" yacht and sailed out towards the Elafiti islands and the islands of Mljet and Korcula.
Before visiting Croatia, Cruise attended the film festival in Venice, where he promoted his latest movie, called "Collateral".
The media have also reported that Russian multimillionaire Roman Abramovich is on a cruise in the Adriatic as well.
