Primorac told state radio on Monday he supported the Mediterranean Institute project which Radman is leading, as did the prime minister and the head of Split University .
Radman, a member of the French Academy of Science, and the technical leader of the project, Luka Gjakun, were anonymously accused of wrongdoing in the management of about 10 million kuna the government earmarked in 2002 and 2003 for the renovation of a building in Split that will house the Mediterranean Institute. They are accused of embezzling at least 300,000 kuna.
On the phone to Hina yesterday, Radman denied the accusations and said he would not withdraw from the Institute project.
