The lawsuit, which also accuses Luka Gjakun, was, according to unofficial information, filed by employees of Split University.
Radman, a member of the French Academy of Science, and Gjakun are accused of wrongdoing in the management of about 10 million kuna the government earmarked in 2002 and 2003 for the renovation of a building in Split that will house the Mediterranean Institute. They are accused of embezzling at least 300,000 kuna.
On the phone to Hina, Radman denied the accusations and said he would not withdraw from the Institute project.
