Davor Janusic said that the previous information that the plane had been evacuated (upon landing in Frankfurt) was wrong.
"After receiving the tip-off from the Zagreb airport that an explosive device was planted, our operative services informed the plane's crew and it completed the flight in accordance with all company procedures," Janusic told the television.
He went on to say that passengers left the plane safely and that the aircraft would soon fly back to Zagreb.
Earlier on Sunday the Reuters agency reported about this bomb threat,
Spokesman for the Frankfurt airport, Guenther Schepky, told Hina last night that after it landed on the Frankfurt airport, the Croatian Airlines plane was searched by German border police and that no explosive device had been found.
