OSIJEK, Aug 14 (Hina) - The chairman of the managing board of the sugarmill in the eastern Croatian city of Osijek has announced legal actionagainst Television of the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina (TV FBIH)over a report this TV
station aired on Friday claiming that sugar,which had been smuggled from Bosnia via Croatia to the EU, had beenrepacked in the Osijek plant. Last year, 753 Croatians lost their lives intraffic accidents, and the death toll in road accidents rose by 114 incomparison to 2002, according to figures released recently by theCentral Bureau of Statistics. Over one fifth of Croatian households havepersonal computers, and the highest increase in the number ofhouseholds in the possession of PCs was registered in 2003 incomparison to the previous year, regarding the equipment with consumerdurables. Bosnian troops, who should be engaged in thejob of removal of land mines in Iraq, will not depart for that countryin the
