President Josipovic said that his answer to the question about possible radicalisation in Bosnia had an entirely different motive and point and that he said that radicalisation could not happen as all people in the region shared the same European values, according to a press release issued by Izetbegovic's office.
Josipovic was quoted in the press release as saying that he regretted if his statement was viewed in parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina as stigmatisation of religious beliefs.
He said that through his work he had shown his respect for all believers in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
He also informed Izetbegovic that in his international contacts he kept strongly advocating Bosnia-Herzegovina's Euro-Atlantic aspirations, pointing out that there was no danger of radicalisation in that country.
