ZAGREB, April 28 (Hina) - Some Croatian parliamentary opposition parties said on Wednesday that the introduction of a third mobile telephone operator and a second fixed telephone operator would reduce the prices of telephone services.#L# The two mobile phone operators now charge twice as much for their services than is the case in Slovenia, Tonci Tadic of the Party of Rights (HSP) said during a debate on amendments to the Telecommunications Act. Tadic recalled that no tender had been issued yet for a new fixed telephony licence and that competition should be enabled in order to cut prices. The Parliament concluded its session with a debate on a proposal by the coalition of the People's Party and the Alliance of Primorje and Gorski Kotar to amend the Bankruptcy Act so as to ensure a better financial status of workers if their company files for bankruptcy. The session will continue on Thursday when deputies are expected to discuss, among other things, a report by the Ombudsman. (Hina) vm
