in Croatia, for which a lot of credit must go to the former government, including Libra.

said on Saturday that the European Commission's positive opinion on
Croatia's application for membership of the European Union was the
most important political event in Croatia, for which a lot of credit

"It is questionable whether Croatia would have obtained the positive
opinion if we had acted differently in the political crisis in 2002,"
Rados said at a session of a senior party body in Zagreb. He added
that the government of Ivo Sanader should also be given credit.
Admission talks will prevent "possible oscillations on the political
scene in Croatia, which lately has been dominated by superficiality
and pompous conduct", Rados said.
