The most prominent cases of intolerance were evident in connection
with the non-Slovenes erased from the register of citizens and
permission for the construction of an Islamic centre in Ljubljana,
Hanzek told a press conference devoted to his annual report on human
rights.
The report will be discussed by the Slovene parliament in June.
Hanzek called for education about human rights and proposed that any
expression of intolerance by political representatives be sanctioned.
