chairwoman of this body for the next one-year term, the Croatian

The committee drafts European standards in the fields of human rights
and bioethics, such as conventions on human rights and bio-medicine
and the protocol banning cloning.
The committee, which is currently holding its 26th session, has
adopted recommendations on the dignity and rights of mentally disabled
people.
