ZAGREB, March 31 (Hina) - The Croatian parliament will likely discuss and define a position on unacceptable parts in the Hague war crimes tribunal's indictments on April 22 or 23, Parliament President Vladimir Seks said on Wednesday.#L# Seks spoke to reporters after a meeting of parliament's leadership, the chairpersons of the clubs of deputies, Prime Minister Ivo Sanader and Justice Minister Vesna Skare-Ozbolt. The announced discussion is expected to be based on conclusions to be drawn up by a task force comprised of representatives of all deputies' clubs, Seks said. He added that everyone at today's meeting had shown a high degree of responsibility as to the setting of the discussion's date and agreed that it should not take place before the Hague tribunal held a status conference on the possibility of generals Mladen Markac and Ivan Cermak being released pending trial. Seks confirmed that in choosing the discussion date the participants in today's meeting had taken into account the fact that Croatia expected the European Commission's opinion on its European Union membership application next month. Seks added there had been no official information about new indictments from The Hague today. (Hina) ha sb
