ZAGREB, March 24 (Hina) - Croatia's Foreign Minister Miomor Zuzul is on Wednesday visiting the UN headquarters in New York where he will hold talks with the UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan on Croatia's contribution to the work of the
World Organisation and the most important current topics such as the situation in Iraq and the fight against terrorism.
ZAGREB, March 24 (Hina) - Croatia's Foreign Minister Miomor Zuzul is on
Wednesday visiting the UN headquarters in New York where he will hold
talks with the UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan on Croatia's
contribution to the work of the World Organisation and the most
important current topics such as the situation in Iraq and the fight
against terrorism.#L#
Zuzul is expected to hold talks with this month's chairman of the
Security Council, French Ambassador Jean-Marc de La Sabliere, on
Croatia's efforts to be a nonpermanent member of the Council in 2008
and 2009.
One of topics which Zuzul will discuss with UN officials is also
Croatia's co-operation with the UN war crimes tribunal in The Hague in
the context of the recent surrender of two Croatian generals -- Ivan
Cermak and Mladen Markac -- after the issuing of their indictment.
